Terms and Conditions
Deposits and Final Payment
・A non-refundable deposit of 10% the total price per tour is required for us.
・Final payment of all tour fees is due 90 days prior to the tour start date.
Cancellation Charges
・More than 45 days prior to departure date: 10% Cancellation Fee of the final payment amount.
・30 to 45 days prior to departure date: 20% Cancellation Fee of the final payment amount.
・7 to 30 days prior to departure date: 50% Cancellation Fee of the final payment amount.
・Less than 7 days prior to departure date or no-show: 100% Cancellation Fee
Special requests and medical conditions
・Please let us know about any special requests or medical conditions you have at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.
・Failure to meet a special request will not be considered a breach of contract.
・If a special request is not specifically confirmed, it is subject to availability.
・For your own protection, you should obtain confirmation in writing that a special request will be met, if it is important to you.
・We cannot accept conditional bookings, i.e. bookings that are specified to be conditional on the fulfillment of a particular request. All such bookings will be treated as "standard" bookings subject to the above provisions on special requests.
Responsibility
・The carriers, accommodations, and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors. They are not agents, employees, servants, or joint ventures of Exotic Japan Tours or its affiliates.
・All travel documents for tour services issued by Exotic Japan Tours are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier and the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied although Japan.
・If, after tour departure, the services included in the tour cannot be supplied or there are changes to the itinerary for reasons beyond Exotic Japan Tours' control, Exotic Japan Tours will make its best efforts to arrange for comparable services. However, Exotic Japan Tours will not provide a refund if we are unable to provide a suitable replacement.
・Exotic Japan Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, or to make changes to the itinerary whenever Exotic Japan Tours deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour participants.
・The tour participant agrees that Exotic Japan Tours or its affiliates shall not be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss) or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing tour services.
